As the executive director of the foundation, Dan Kohn, has predicted, legacy software worth about $100 trillion in net GDP will eventually be ported to Kubernetes for better servicing.
With Kubernetes, Blackrock, the world’s largest asset manager, was able to build and release an investor research application in 100 days, which is roughly the amount of time it would normally take to acquire computer hardware.
