The Samsung S95C is revolutionary. It’s by far the brightest OLED TV we’ve examined thus far; in our tests, it outperformed earlier QD-OLED screens for peak HDR brightness by 40%. We measured it at 1,400 nits; when compared to the LG C3’s 820 nits, it is clear why it is so intriguing—and pricey.

Because it is so much brighter, it might appear more realistic, and the contrast between light and dark is even more pronounced. Even if that OLED TV improvement is astounding, it’s not the only one in this case.
